Unix Timestamp Converter
About this Unix Timestamp Converter tool
A Unix timestamp (also called epoch time) counts the seconds since 1 January 1970 UTC. It is widely used in databases, logs and APIs. This tool converts timestamps to readable dates and dates back to timestamps. Many systems use milliseconds instead of seconds, so check the length: 10 digits is usually seconds, and 13 digits is usually milliseconds.
How to use it
- Enter a Unix timestamp, or pick a date and time.
- Click Convert.
- Copy the date or the timestamp.
Example
1700000000 → Tue, 14 Nov 2023 22:13:20 UTC
